It's the second week after exams. Life has been good for me. Nearly din have any free time at home, which is the reason why i haven't been fiddling with my sewing machine, and i almost forgot the threading steps! XD! So i sew a small little card pouch to polish my rusty skills.
And surprisingly, i haven't use the pouch sew last time. It's so pretty that i can't bear to use it as pencil case. I'm might consider selling it tho.
Apart from that, i sew a floral fabric headband too.

Hello people! I'm back from my bintan trip. Had quite some fun over there, and was rather shag. But still i managed to complete the clutch/pencil case that i've left half-done ytd. Well, it turns out to be what i've imagine it to be, with pleats and very classy buttons and pretty floral inner lining.
Now i'm in the process of making a sleeve-less blouse. It was inspired by a vintage top i saw it online. I should be able to get it done very quick if i have another day to spare. But time is so cruel to me, cos sch is starting tml! Oh man~ That means i'll go for a period of hiatus for anything that has got to do with sewing. Cos mummy will be screaming at me if i ever shift the sewing machine out during the entire sch term.

I'm amazed by myself. I've made a total of 3 stuff, 2 of them on saturday and another on sunday. I'm really gonna be a domestic girl like what hong labelled me as. XD
Who cares? lol, i manage to sew the draw-string pouch and replicate of the previous high waist box pleat skirt, both of which are for my sister.
My pink washed cotton roll of fabric is getting thinner and thinner by day :( Skirts are fabric eating MONSTER!!!!!
Sis bought that floral piece of fabric, she said i can have the rest of it. woohoo~
Then i decided that i'll make a pencil case for myself, but it end up being a bit too short for a pencil case cos i used the shorter zip :(
So, now it's more like a pouch... and I DON'T NEED A POUCH!!!!! :( :( :(

Now that i've got two exact high waist box pleat skirt AND in the same color just different measurements, i feel like giving one up.
Hmmm.. should i???

Just completed a new project. A denim pencil case!
I have to say that i think the pictures taken doesn't do my pencil case justice... It just somehow, looks different.
I went to chinatown to search for the right button ytd. But i couldn't really find a suitable one, but i just go ahead and settle with this big wooden button. If not for this, i would have completed it ytd, and can start sewing the skirt for sis which she requested for quite sometime.
Rarr, It's monday tml... I've got to work again! :( just hope i've got more time to sew!

Spent my sunday sewing this skirt for my darling jiayi! I've been using the same fabric over and over again, but i'm not tired of it! HAahaa, cos i've gt lots of them, and i think it's quite cool. I like the pink and the washed denim kind of material, though sis insist that it's an ugly fabric. So much for our disagreement.

I had some left over strips of washed fabric of different colours, so i decided to make a zip pouch out of them!
It was initially quite a deep pouch, but it was such a awkward shape and i decided to alter it.
It comes with inner lining :)

Just completed this school-girl like skirt not long ago.
And I love it to the max!
Because, It's uber cute~
Spend quite some time sewing it. There's supposedly 6 pleats per side, but i had some miscalculation, so end up having to cut 2 pleats away. aww~~ If not it would be nicer. The skirt end up having like 6 pleats in front and 4 at the back. :(
Anyway, I'm planning to do remake for this exact skirt using different fabric. I've been using the washed-denim fabric for all my projects all this while.
Up close of the the skirt. It's a back-zip skirt.
Can't wait to make another one. Got to find time to do some shopping though.
And I love it to the max!
